The outline drawing of  Robert S. Johnson's P-47 as it limps back to the English channel while Luftwaffe ace Egon Mayer unloads his ammo. But the rugged P-47 keeps flying and brings Johnson home to England with over 200 holes.
 
this drawing will be transfered to a 13x19 inch panel for a color study . The final size will be 24x36
